The Path to my Masters

I wish to introduce myself here and experiment at the same time with some of the tools. I am not a web social kind of person.  It is not that I choose to hide, but I do want to chose who gets to see and hear about me. I do not participate in Face Book and really have no reason to so far. I have another blog out there from another class. I am finishing up my Masters with this class, ETAP 687. It has been  a life- long goal for me to continue my education and at the young age of 47, I did go back to college. I had completed two Associate degrees, but never a Bachelors. I was teaching in a vocational high school and needed to complete something quickly and so I combined 16 years of media experience with the various course I had taken. I finished in 2004, graduating from Oswego, Summa Cum Laude. I thought, not too bad for an old broad. I  taught at a business college and decided I wanted to be able to teach in different arenas. I love taking classes on line and I designed one for a college class. I also was able to be a virtual teaching assistant at Oswego. It was the first time it was done and I think that it has continued.  I currently work for a company that is in infancy in relationship to technology. We know deliver most of our training on-line. We put together a 30 course curriculum in eight months. Don’t try that, it will kill you. I will talk more about my job in another post. I am married to a great guy: Joe. I thought I would never remarry after a horrendous divorce from a marriage that almost made it to 27 years. I have no regrets about that marriage being over as I would not trade my current life for anything. I love our two dogs, Bishop and Bubbi (Caleb). Bishop does not like yellow snow. Both boys are rescue dogs and have rescued me. I work with a basset rescue group to help promote rescue animals.

I also love to garden even though I have sever psoriatic arthritis. My garden is my

sanctuary and it is where I get my spiritual lift.
